- Using a food processor, blend flour and salt. Next, add butter, then grated cheese. While the food processor is running, add 1 tsp of water at a time until dough forms. Stop immediately when dough forms and do not add any more water. Turn off processor.
- Place dough onto a floured surface and roll out using a rolling pin to about ¼” thick. Flour the dough to prevent sticking and continue to rotate the dough on counter to prevent sticking.
- Use a goldfish cutter to make goldfish crackers or you can just cut into square crackers using a pizza cutter if you don’t have molds. Place goldfish crackers onto a baking sheet lined with unbleached parchment paper and bake at 350℉ for 15 minutes or until slightly golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool on a cooling rack. Crackers will harden as they cool. Transfer to a glass jar when cooled and store in the pantry.
- Tip — These are a kid favorite, so you may want to double the batch, as they go quickly! Perfect for lunchbox.

Great recipe! This dough can also be used for homemade “Cheez-its” if you cut it into squares.
