Pine cone metaphysical meaning
Throughout the span of recorded human history, pine cones have served as a symbolic representation of human enlightenment, the third eye and the pineal gland.
Conifer pine tees are one of the most ancient plant genera on the planet, having existed nearly three times longer than all flowering plant species. The pine cone is the evolutionary precursor to the flower, and its spines spiral in a perfect fibonacci sequence in either direction, much like the sacred geometry of a rose or a sunflower.
Our “pine”al gland, shaped like (and named after) the pine cone, is at the geometric center of our brain and is intimately linked to our body’s perception of light. The pineal modulates our wake-sleep patterns and circadian rhythms, remains uniquely isolated from the blood-brain barrier system, and receives a higher percentage of blood flow than any other area of the body save the kidneys.
In addition to spiritual consciousness and enlightenment, pine cones have also historically been used as symbols of everlasting or eternal life.
Rose petals metaphysical meaning:
Rose is the most sacred plant and the flower of love. It has an energy that is healing and will balance and align all chakras. It can activate the heart chakra for healing and awakening a greater sense of love. Rose can increase your telepathy, and help you attune to the angelic vibrations. It can help open one to exploration of the mystery of time, life and death and all that is unknown. Abundance, beauty, clearing and blessings, dreams, emotional healing, friendship, protection, purification, romantic love, secrecy, self-love, and spirituality are associated words.
