Arkansas Legislators are considering a pro-consumer bill to address vaccine harm.

SB 6 classifies vaccine harm as an unclassified felony. It applies to cases where a person knowingly conceals, withholds, or omits evidence of a vaccine’s dangerous effects. Penalties range from one year to life imprisonment.

This bill establishes a fund to support the prosecution of vaccine harm offenses. The fund will expire on December 31, 2026, and any remaining funds will be transferred to the state’s General Revenue fund.

No other U.S. company can knowingly create harmful products, deceive the public about safety, and avoid liability. With many vaccines mandated for school, work, and travel, this profit-driven model prioritizes earnings over safety, endangering lives.

S.B. 6 was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee on 1-13-25.

Vaccine makers and the healthcare providers who administer them bear zero liability for vaccine injuries and deaths. Vaccine makers have no incentive to make vaccines safe.

This bill holds vaccine manufacturer executive officers criminally liable when their acts or omissions cause individuals harm. While the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 prevents vaccine manufacturers from being held liable for civil damages for a person’s death or injury caused by a vaccine, S.B. 6 only imposes criminal liability to executive officers; therefore, S.B. 6 should not be preempted by federal law.

All vaccines are pharmaceutical products that carry a risk of injury and even death. As of December 27, 2024, there were 2,652,032 adverse events and 48,856 deaths reported to the national Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS). Vaccine manufacturers must be liable for vaccine harm when their acts or omissions cause such harm.

Covid shot manufacturers and providers are shielded from liability through the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act, or PREP Act. The only option for compensating people injured by COVID-19 vaccines is the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP). Only eight percent of all petitioners since 2010 have been awarded compensation through the CICP. No legal or medical expert fees are covered, no pain and suffering is awarded, lost wages are capped at $50,000 per year, and there is no judicial appeal. The mRNA Covid shots include polyethylene glycol (PEG), an immunogenic chemical compound associated with severe allergic reactions that can lead to death.
