Florida legislators are considering a good bill to protect you and your family.

SB 196 would require any food containing vaccine material to be labeled “Contains vaccine or vaccine material” or be deemed misbranded in violation of the Food Safety Act.

Specifically, this bill amends several sections of Florida Statutes to:

• Classify food that contains vaccine material as a drug.
• Introduce a clear definition for “vaccine or vaccine material.”
• Mandate that any food containing such material must be labeled accordingly or be considered misbranded under the Florida Food Safety Act.
• Update cross-references in existing code to align with the new provisions.
