NOURISHING SPACE WITHIN: ESSENTIALS OF SELF-CARE
                                                       by Alegra Hart, ND

I learned a new word from this book. If someone had asked me how my emunctories are, I wouldn’t have known
whether I was being insulted or should tell them to mind their own business or both. For those who are as unenlightened
as I am, emunctories are the major organs of elimination.
There is a section on food–what to eat, what not to eat and why. The section on exercise wisely recommends not
overdoing it. Other sections include sleep, hormones and emotions. This book is a good, compact (less than one hundred
pages) health reference which will help you avoid jamming up your emunctories. Thumbs UP. Review by Tim Boyd
